B54
The B-54 is a mid-sized drill with the big punch
of a hydraulic drill with applications in geotechnical,
environmental, geothermal, domestic water well, and
mineral and aggregate prospecting. Auger drilling,
both hollow stem and continuous flight, rotary drilling
and diamond core drilling are possible as well as
angle drilling.
The hydraulic rotary head drive allows safe operation
at full capacity by reducing vibration and cushioning
the drive train against shock loads. The enclosed
low-maintenance hydraulic drive system keeps dirt
out to help minimize wear.
The B-54 is sized for mounting on a variety of carriers
to provide go-anywhere versatility. Rubber tracks,
truck, dozer, tractor and trailer mounts are the
most common setups.
The B-54 can be powered either from a carrier engine
or a dedicated drill engine
